Heritage Days _ Old Bedford Village Aug 19-20, 2017
Living History of the time period 1790- 1820. We will bunk in two cabins along the village road. Demonstrations of firing; Drilling spectators with wooden rifles; training in starting fires with flint and steel. We will be the only military unit for the weekend. Old Bedford Village is in Bedford, PA.

Location is Mississinewa State Park outside of Marion, Indiana. Regimental deadline for registration is July 26. If you are late in registering, contact Jim Tate for late registration. This is a Brigade Napoleon event to be held in Towanda, PA. Towanda is south of Ithaca, NY in North East PA. This will be a living history event with tactical battles. This is the major event for the Brigade Napoleon and will include French and Coalition Forces in battles centered around Ft. George, Ontario. Grand Tactique at Ft George, to be held on June 8th through 10th. This is the largest War of 1812 event held in the US. Forces include American, Canadian, British and Indian groups. Held on the Historic Mississinewa Battlefield, 7 miles north of Marion, IN on State Road 13. This is a three day event with battles on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Expect up to 500 reenactors. This is a one day recruiting event sponsored by the US Army Heritage and Education Center (USAHEC) at Carlisle, PA. We will have a table set up with brochures and displays and will meet spectators interested in reenacting and other reenactors interested in diversifying into Napoleonic Era activities.
