Brigade Napoleon Grande Tactique

TBDThis is the major event for the Brigade Napoleon and will include French and Coalition Forces in battles centered around Ft. George, Ontario. Grand Tactique at Ft George, to be held on June 8th through 10th.

The site is about 30 minutes from Buffalo, New York, which has the closest major airport.
While plans are still in their very early stages, I did want to let you know that we are planning to have a Regency Dance at historic Navy Hall (http://www.friendsoffortgeorge.ca/sites/navy-hall/index.html) on Saturday night, and that we are also planning to have the Annual General Meeting of the Brigade on Sunday morning. We also plan to make full use of the fort during the tacticals (including an assault on the outworks).
Fort George is located at the northern end of the Niagara River in the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, on the outskirts of Ontario’s Wine Country. For those who may be coming from great distances and who have some time to spend in the area, there are plenty of things to do, both historically and culturally. In addition to period camps for both Allied and Coalition troops, space will be available on a first come, first served basis in the Barracks Blockhouse. For those traveling by air or with limited vehicle room, there are beds with foam mattresses, so all you will need to bring is blankets and pillows.
