Event Navigation
This event is held in Jamestown Settlement, near Williamsburg, Virginia. It is a “timeline’ event with 25-30 groups portraying every time period from 400 AD Roman legionnaires to the modern National Guard. In the Napoleonic era there will be the 95th Rifles and the 3e Regiment de Ligne from the Brigade Napoleon. This is a judged event and we will be entering the cooking competition and the drill competition. On Saturday night we will have a regimental dinner at the King’s Arms Tavern in Colonial Williamsburg. We will be interacting with spectators and every rifleman should be familiar with the manual of arms and the loading procedure. You will be asked to drill spectators with wooden rifles. Camping is available on the site or you can find hotels in the Williamsburg area. The site is open for cars to enter and unload at 5 PM on Friday, March 17. We will furnish cartridges at $4 for a packet of ten rounds.
